Governor: Rusmolco to build 4.5 bln rbl dairy plant in Penza Reg
PENZA, Dec 14 (PRIME) -- Russian dairy products company Rusmolco plans to invest 4.5 billion rubles in construction of a commercial dairy plant in the Penza Region, Governor Ivan Belozertsev told PRIME on Friday.
“Our long-time reliable partner Rusmolco…(plans) to invest about 4.5 billion rubles in construction of a commercial dairy facility in the Serdobsky District with a capacity of 5,200 heads of dairy cattle. Investors have entered an interest rate subsidization program for a large investment loan. They are working very efficiently today,” he said.
Chinese state-owned agricultural company COFCO is considering building a plant for deep processing of wheat in the region, he said.
“The Penza Region’s delegation led by me has met with vice president of state company COFCO. The company is very interested in building a plant for deep processing of wheat in the city of Serdobsk…We have the goal of working with the Chinese partners, we want them to come with investments and technologies,” he said.
He also said that nine companies plan to invest about 3 billion rubles to create production in the advanced social and economic development territory of the closed town of Zarechny in the region.
“We hope that anchor companies will come from (state nuclear power corporation) Rosatom, and some our companies in Penza already plan to become residents (of the territory)…As of today, we’ve held negotiations with several potential residents of the territory, and they plan to invest about 3 billion rubles in production and create about 750 jobs,” he said.
